`Bridge over DUMBO`

A morning view of downtown NYC past the Brooklyn Bridge in an area of Brooklyn called DUMBO (Down Under Manhattan Bridge Over) captures the East River, the South Street Seaport, the Woolworth Building, and more. On this cold January morning, the flag on top of the Brooklyn Bridge flies at half mast to honor a soldier from the Bronx, fallen on the Afgan battlefield. This soldiers name was Lance Cpl. Alberto Francesconi, USMC.
