Bret Edward Delaire Mid-day Sun on Federal Hall 2(Released in 2009, April)
After completing the smaller Mid-day Sun, I decided that I wanted to return to the same spot for a larger work. This painting captures three buildings familiar to anyone in the financial marketplace; The New York Stock Exchange, Federal Hall and Trinity Church. The statue ofGeorge Washington stands out grandly in front of the bright sun shining on the columns behind him as he seems to be speaking a message to Wall Street of 2009.
