| This painting was done on site at the Wollman Rink in New York`s Central Park. A light snow in January 2007 covered the ground making the ice skating scene look more wintry. Some of the buildings in the background from left to right are: The Pierre (tall beige), unknown (green glass), The Ritz Tower (short w/ green top), Parc V (small white), Sherry Netherland (green top), IBM (tall black), Sony (beige), and The Plaza (behind yellow trees). The American flag behind the rink is raise to half mast in memory of Pres. Gerald Ford. |
