Salvation and Sweetness
`Salvation and Sweetness`

Painted in artists apartment in January 2001. The title comes from a painting by El Greco titled `The Holy Family with Mary Magdalene`. In this painting, Saint Joseph offers the baby Jesus a bowl of fruit where the peaches in it signify salvation and the pears suggest the sweetness of Christ`s virtue.
